A dark Belgian ale produced in Russia. It has a beautiful dark brown color with a thin creamy head. Brewed according to traditional recipes using only natural ingredients: selected barley malt, rice, hops, sugar, and the purest water. Abbé Brun beer is quite strong (6.5%), but its rich fruity aroma and full-bodied taste mean that the alcohol is hardly noticeable. It is produced by AB InBev Efes, which was formed in 2018 as a result of a merger between two corporations and has already become the leader in the Russian market.

Taste characteristics

Abbe Brune has a taste of caramel, dried fruit, and a slight hint of coffee. The aftertaste is dry, with a fruity sourness and hop bitterness. The aroma has notes of dried fruit, raisins, and plums.

Food pairings

Abbe Brune dark beer goes well with cheese and roasted meat. It can also be served with spicy, caramelized, or sweet and sour dishes.
